On the grounds of Herford Hospital, the existing children's clinic dating from the 1970s is to be replaced by a new building that meets today's requirements. In addition to an outpatient clinic on the garden level, the planned new building for the children's and adolescent clinic is to include a general children's nursing ward on the first floor, a free ward level on the 1st floor and an intensive care unit on the 2nd floor.
The new building will have a direct connection to the existing mother-child center and integrate the existing single-story pharmacy. The construction work will be carried out during ongoing operations, including the pharmacy.

For the 4-story new building of the children's hospital, the following trades are required for the trade
414-3 Medical Technology, Fixed Installations the following main dimensions are to be considered:
Fixed medical fixtures:
Oto-\/Ophthalmoscope on wall station: 13 pcs.
Radiant warmer: 19 pcs
Reassembly of oto-\/ophthalmoscope on wall station: 5 pcs.
Reassembly heat emitter, wall, 2-joint: 4 pcs.
