Will be received until Tuesday, June 18, 2019, 1:30 p.m., local time, to be publicly opened at the same location on the same day at 1:45 p.m.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond issued by a financial institution for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid and valid for a period of forty-five (45) days following the opening date of the Bids. The bid bond will be exchanged, upon signature of the Contract, for a performance bond and a bond for pledges, materials and services of a value equal to 50% of the amount of the Bid.
Only contractors with an establishment in Quebec where they operate on a permanent basis, clearly identified in their name and accessible during normal office hours and holding, where applicable, the licence required under the Building Act (RLRQ., c. B.-1.1), are eligible to bid. The Contractors are responsible for the selection of Subcontractors both by their solvency and for the content of their Bids, and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required Permits and Licenses.
The Owner undertakes to accept neither the lowest nor any of the Bids received and incurs no obligation to the Bidders, nor any costs of any kind.
