Description

The LZN is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for the direct Lower Saxony state administration (see § 2 of the LZN's operating instructions). With the approval of its supervisory authority, the LZN can take on further tasks for public law consumers within and outside the Lower Saxony state administration as well as for private law companies wholly owned by the public sector (cf. § 3 of the LZN's operating instructions). In this area of responsibility, the LZN issues a framework agreement with a company (§ 21 VgV) for the direct state authorities of the state of Lower Saxony including the Lower Saxony islands on the supply and installation of office furniture. Further details on the type and scope of the agreement can be found in the description of services - technical part (Part B) incl. appendix The estimated total order amount incl. extension options is approx. 12 million EUR (net). This envisaged order volume has been determined and described by the LZN on the basis of the purchase quantities from 15.8.2016 to 30.11.2019 and thus as precisely as possible. However, a final determination is neither possible nor necessary due to the nature of the procurement, in particular due to the fact that the purchase/call-off behaviour cannot be exactly foreseen (§ 21 para. 1 sentence 2 VgV). The procurement volume stated here is subject to considerable fluctuations due to the fact that the demand figures of the customers of the Logistics Center Lower Saxony - the authorities and offices of the Lower Saxony state administration - cannot be conclusively calculated, with the result that only a rough calculation can be given. This volume therefore only represents a forecast and an indication for the preparation and calculation of quotations and does not constitute an obligation to accept by the client.
