The Norwegian Coast Guard [Kystverket] invites tenderers to an open tender contest for a framework agreement for the purchase of work clothes and personal protection equipment.
The procurement will cover the Coast Guard's need for clothing and protection of personnel during, among other things, electrical work, welding, painting work, carpentry work, service work, installation work, work within environmental preparedness, etc. that is carried out in demanding working conditions on or near the sea.The product groups are clothing, footwear, head protection, hearing protection, hand protection body protection, respiratory protection, eye protection.The contract is intended to be dynamic within the agreed upon need/product spectrum and open for the introduction of new products in order to cover the Coast Guard's need for clothing and protection. The purpose of the agreement is to establish a stable and sustainable supply at a price that is appropriate to the market. A sustainable supply means a supply where gentleness to people and the environment is balanced with effective implementation of the deliveries and a long product life.
