RFT request documentation will be made available on AusTender.
Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) is a public/private sector collaboration between Defence and Manpower Services (Australia) Pty Ltd (trading as ManpowerGroup) to deliver recruiting services to the Australian Defence Force (ADF). DFR is a composite organisation comprising personnel from the ADF, Australian Public Service (APS) and ManpowerGroup. DFR's mission is to recruit the right people at the right time to sustain and enhance Defence capability.
DFR comprises a national headquarters in Canberra and 16 Defence Force Recruiting Centres (DFRC's) throughout Australia. Medical testing is conducted at the DFRC's to ensure candidates applying to join the ADF meet the medical entry standards.
Chief Medical Officer Defence Force Recruiting (CMO DFR) is responsible for managing and determining fitness for entry to the ADF for a range of complex medical submissions for candidates in the recruiting process. A team of suitably qualified and motivated contract medical practitioners are required to assist in the provision of:
