Description
Oberbillwerder is Hamburg's second largest urban development project after HafenCity. On the basis of the 1997 land use plan, a new urban district with lively neighbourhoods and a wide range of offers for living, working, education, culture, leisure, sport and recreation is to be created on an area of approx. 124 ha in the Bergedorf district. The site borders to the south on the railway lines for regional, long-distance and freight traffic. According to current recommendations from an already existing noise protection report, the construction of a noise protection wall with a length of approx. 2200 m and a height of approx. 4.0 to 6.0 m above rail level is to be carried out north of the railway embankment.
The awarding of planning services (1st object planning for civil engineering structures in accordance with §§ 41 HOAI and 2nd structural design in accordance with §§ 49 HOAI) is carried out by means of two awarding procedures, which are put out to tender in a timely, staggered manner.
