Description
The radar system shall be used onboard for navigation and the helicopter landing or launching control facilities.
You will need to provide:
- removal of existing navigation radar sets from the ship
- software, documentation and certificate
- an interface control document
- installation, supervision, Said To Weigh and commissioning
- fast moving spare parts and accessories
- the Final Acceptance Test
- foreign and local training
- test or trial and acceptance
The radar system should be suitable for operating in maritime environment on all kinds of naval ships. It must have features including:
- an atomic radar plotting aid
- an integrated route planning and trail manoeuver for safe navigation
- navigation of own vessel with regard to collision avoidance
- the ability to fix the ship's position using terrestrial objects such as lighthouses, buoys and so on
- target tracking of radar and Automatic Identification System (AIS) targets
- advance rain and sea clutter suppression for small target detection
- a differentiating capability between targets in high traffic density areas
- sector transmission
- a helicopter tracking and landing or launching control facility
- a blanking signal to other system and Electronic Support Measures (ESM) system
- built-in-test (BIT) facilities for fault detection and diagnosis
- suitability for inclement weather
- a high resolution and HD screen
- a frequency agility and jamming detection feature
- a chart radar facility
The radar must meet the environmental and other standards of:
- -5 degree to 55 degree celsius temperatures
- up to 95% (non condensing) relative humidity
- Military Defence Standard (MIL-STD)-810F or equivalent for shock
- MIL-STD-810F or equivalent for vibration
- MIL-STD-461 or equivalent for electromagnetic capability or interference
It must comply with the ship's movement as:
- a roll of ± 30 degree
- a pitch of ± 10 degree
- a yaw of ± 8 degree
