Description

This is the 5th iteration of the Support Services Contract concept, which is now being called Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS).

The resulting contracts will:

- provide a contracting vehicle against which the NCI Agency may order contractor support as required
- be the 'preferred vehicle' for the NCI Agency to fulfill contractor support requirements

The current acquisition strategy is to award multiple contracts for these requirements, most likely in a Framework structure, with the procurement method to be fully defined prior to IFS issuance.

Current categories of contractor support within the NCI Agency include:

- cyber defence support
- cost estimating and analysis support
- engineering support
- general office support
- logistics support
- military operations research, analysis and support
- professional management and administrative support
- software, IT, and communications support
