Description
Aligned with the Irish Red Cross Migration Programme the IRC utilise agreed FEAD funding to source, procure, co-ordinate and distribute Basic Material Assistance to migrants who have entered Ireland including those under the Department of Justice and Equality Irish Refugee Protection Programme, at a number of vital stages to support their welcome and integration into Irish Society.
The Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD) supports EU countries' actions to provide food and/or basic material assistance to the most deprived.
In Ireland, FEAD supports activities that provide aid to the most deprived in our society. These activities are funded through the national Food and/or Basic Material Assistance Operational Programme. The Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection is the designated managing authority for the Operational Programme.
To assist the Irish Red Cross in delivering its FEAD Programme the IRC is now seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced companies to Supply Household Goods under a Multi-Party Framework.
The scope of the Framework Agreement comprises the supply and delivery of a range of household and cleaning goods for domestic use.
The services falling within the scope of the Framework Agreement involve, at a high level, but are not limited to:
• Supply of a range of household and cleaning products for domestic use only to IRC (‘’the Goods’’);
• Provision and access to an online product catalogue and ordering system to be accessed by IRC;
• Distribution of Core Products to various locations nationwide; and
• Account management.
