BC Timber Sales invites you to submit a tender for MP25TLE005 -Multiphase Timber Sale Licence Development – Various Locations – Williams Lake Timber Supply Area.The proposed contract is to fully develop new timber sale licenses, amend previously developed new timber sale licenses for future sale and to provide benchmark costing to the Market Pricing System (MPS) Appraisal System as per British Columbia’s Timber Sales (BCTS) objectives. BCTS will provide the Contractor with planned timber development shapes and previously developed shapes, which require incorporation of Old Growth Deferral Area management strategies.  Development will be completed as per Schedules A1 through A4.  As a note, block and road Site Plan deliverables are inclusive of site assessments, as per FSP 828.  Phased delivery of deliverables will be set through a jointly developed Work Progress Plan that meets Schedule A's final delivery dates, a derivative of Cariboo-Chilcotin (TCC) Timber Sale Area's Sales Schedule. Also see Conditions of Tender for acceptable bid securities.The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.Be aware that BCTS has made changes to its EMS and SFM programs to meet the updated 2022 Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) Forest Management Standard. Changes impacting BCTS clients include new training requirements (Table 008-1, 008-1A, Tailgate Training, SFI Awareness documents, and new Indigenous rights awareness training, as well as changes to training frequency and a new continuing education component). In addition, note changes to EMS/SFM Environmental Field Procedures and Incident Reporting Procedures which occurred June 1, 2022. Supervisors and workers will need to be familiar with these changes prior to commencement of operations.
