Description

The works consist of earthworks, engineering structures, sewerage, pavements, equipment, signalling, telecommunications networks, for the widening of the A10 motorway to 2x4 lanes north of Orléans between the A10/A19 and A10/A71 junctions, also including the redevelopment of the Orléans-Nord diffuser (No. 14), and the development of the A19 ramps and the Orléans-Saran and Orléans-Gidy service areas.The redevelopment work, on motorways in circulation, includes in particular- various demolitions of existing structures or installations,- the widening of motorway platforms, in excavation or embankment, over a distance of approximately 15 km in both directions of traffic,- the construction of pavements, signalling, safety equipment and fences,- the modification of dry networks, dynamic equipment, lighting and their supply,- the redevelopment of the Orléans Nord motorway diffuser,- the upgrading of motorway sanitation and in particular the creation and recovery of existing sewerage basins,- the construction of a large hydraulic structure, such as a closed reinforced concrete frame, under the motorway for the restoration of a watercourse,- the raising of an existing PS deck,- the construction of acoustic screens on footings or deep foundations and acoustic merlons,- various works for the construction of a motorway in service, including landscape development.All work must be carried out under traffic and therefore involves complex phasing, regular configuration changes and the installation of protective equipment.The main quantities of the works, given for information purposes, are as follows:- clearing of rights-of-way: 220,000 m2,- earthworks:-- excavations and road planing: 760,000 m3,-- fill and deposits: 90,000 m3,-- granular layer: 190,000 m3,-- acoustic or landscape stone: 330,000 m3,-- landscaped deposits: 325,000 m3,- engineering structures:-- hydraulic structures (closed frame): 12.5 m2 opening and 360 m2 surface area,-- lifting a PS deck,-- retaining walls: 120 m2,- acoustic screens: absorbent, reflective, on footings or deep foundations: 6,500 m2,- sanitation:-- ditches/cunettes: 30,000 ml,-- gutters: 6,300 ml,-- collectors: 6,700 ml,-- impermeable containment basins: 19,-- retention basins (with leakage and/or infiltration rate): 15,- pavements:-- asphalt gravel: 60,000 m3,-- BBSG: 18,000 m3,- equipment and signage:-- horizontal and vertical signalling,-- concrete and metal retaining devices: 34,000 ml,-- mesh fences: 40,000 ml,- networks:-- multitubular trenching: 23,000 m,-- directional drilling,-- supply, installation and connection of optical fibre cables and copper cables,- operating equipment (PMV, PAU, .These works will require special provisions linked to: - interventions on roads and motorways in circulation, by maintaining the level of service imposed by the operator (traffic flow, user safety, etc.). These provisions involve in particular night and weekend work as well as constraints on the exiguity of the site areas,- the carrying out of work in urban or peri-urban sites with the proximity of existing buildings,- limited rights-of-way and constraints on site access,- the existence of numerous networks, public or private, in interaction with the works to be built,- simultaneous with other works in progress or to come.duration of the contract: approximately 30 months, including the 3-month preparatory period. As an indication, expected to start in the first half of 2020.
