Description

UniSC is seeking to enter into a contract to Medium Works Design & Construct Contract (D&C) located at Moreton Bay Campus.
UniSC objectives for the Request for Tender (RFT) are as follows:
Current Logo and USC lettering to be removed and replaced with aluminum screening to match existing screen. Illuminated new branded signage as per specification shown on the attached drawings and documentation. All existing building faces made good from old signage and branding removal. University of the Sunshine Coast Signage Manual (V1.2) added so that the supplier has all relevant information for detailing the logo and UniSC font and their relationship. It’s critical that the sign maker uses the specifications outlined in this document to produced shop drawings for approval.
Bligh Tanner Engineering has produced documentation and specifications for the University to go to tender to engage builders/sign manufacturers to produce new building signage. This outlines the structural requirements, design brief and in accordance with all relevant standards. Bligh Tanner will also be responsible to answer construction phase RFI’s, attendance at subsequent construction phase meetings, further site inspections / meetings, or construction phase input, approvals, and certification.
This will be a design and construct contract and all structural documentation, install inspections, RFI’s and certification will be reviewed by Bligh Tanner on the University’s behalf.
