INVITATION TO TENDERERSThe City of Surrey (the “Owner”) invites Tenders for the construction of a modular daycare addition Don Christian Rec Centre located at 6224-184 Street, Surrey, V3S 7P8.The Work includes the provision of all equipment, labour, disposals, materials and incidentals required to complete all of the Work as described herein these tender documents for the construction of a modular daycare addition Don Christian Rec Centre.The Work includes but is not limited to:•To Construct and install a prefabricated modular daycare building in addition to the existing modular daycare building, at the Don Christian Recreation Centre.•Structural as per drawing and specifications.•All Civil work as per drawing and specifications.•All Electrical as per drawing and specifications.•All plumbing as per drawing and specifications.•Installation of crawlspace support walls.•Concrete portion of entry porch ramp.•Site built connection between existing building and new modular building.IINFORMATION MEETING:An information meeting will be hosted by the Owner’s Representative to discuss the Owner’s requirements under this ITT (the “Information Meeting”). While attendance is at the discretion of Tenderers, Tenderers who do not attend will be deemed to have attended the Information Meeting and to have received all of the information given at the Information Meeting. At the time of issuance of this ITT a meeting has been scheduled as follows:Date: April 26, 2024Time: 9:00 a.m.Location: 6224-184 Street, Surrey, V3S 7P8Tenderers are to meet at Don Christian Rec Centre Parking Lot.ADDENDAIf the Owner determines that an amendment is required to this ITT, the Owner’s Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the Owner’s website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”) and upon posting will be deemed to form a part of this ITT. It is the responsibility of Tenderers to check Websites for addenda. The only way this ITT may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this ITT or may be relied upon by any Tenderer. By delivery of a Tender the Tenderer is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire ITT, including any and all addenda.INQUIRIESAll inquiries related to this ITT should be directed in writing to the person named below (the “Owner’s Representative”).
