Description

The city of Wildau is planning to expand the elementary school to a stable 4+ class size (5 class size) including the expansion of the after-school care area at the elementary school site that goes hand in hand with the school expansion.In addition, a 3-field sports hall for school instruction is to be built on the campus. The expansion will take place in several construction phases (annual phases) and must be carried out during ongoing school and after-school care operations.To ensure this, a temporary facility will be built on the adjacent so-called Meyerbeck property to the north, which will primarily include after-school care use for 420 children, but also 4 specialist cabinets and another 4 classrooms that can be used together with the after-school care.In addition, the temporary cafeteria with serving kitchen will be set up here.
Construction of an after-school care building in modular/container designDue to the quite high fire protection requirements and the relatively long service life, so-called mobile rental buildings are also considered in addition to the usual container system, which are of higher quality and design.Due to the extensive room program, the facility will have three floors.In the north wing of the first floor there is the cafeteria, in the west wing there are after-school rooms along Fichtestraße, offices and staff rooms facing the south courtyard, as well as the central checkrooms.The second floor is intended exclusively for after-school use.The second floor is shared by the after-school and the school. The classrooms and specialist cabinets are to be used by the school in the morning and by the after-school care center in the afternoon (dual use). A maximum period of use of 5 years (summer 2024 to summer 2029) is planned. The commissioning should take place on 15.08.2024.
