Description

The subject of this tender concerns the resilient Andes to Climate Change. Mandating will consider an inception phase and a first phase that is subject on the approval of the credit (Funds) by SDC reserving the right to directly award follow up phases to the winner of this tender, recognising the high quality and performance of the selected organisation.The overall objective of the programme will be achieved through three outcomes:i) National adaptation policies, that respond to the needs of the most vulnerable communities in high Andean rural regions, are strengthened, financed and implemented;ii) Good adaptation practices in Andean mountain regions are developed, shared regionally and adopted by vulnerable communities, strengthening their food and water security and preserving natural resources;iii) Methodologies and tools for effective decision-making and reporting in climate change adaptation are developed and used.
