Description
On the basis of the programme "Digitisation of Land-based Operations" (D-LBO), a successor system for the "Cellular Networks Deployable" (ZNV) share of the "TETRAPOL Bw" trunked radio system introduced into the Bundeswehr is to be procured. The ZNV project is a cellular radio system which handles voice and narrowband data transmission via the trunked radio standard "Terrestrial Trunked Radio" (TETRA). Broadband data transmission takes place via the mobile radio standard "Long Term Evolution" (LTE). The TETRA standard also enables the required integration into the network of authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS) that already use a nationwide TETRA network in Germany. In order to meet the different requirements of the users, in particular with regard to dimensions, subscriber capacity and the required radio coverage, 2 system variants are planned.
