Mexico - Mexico – Requires foundation slab construction for new airport terminal building

Mexico City Airport Group, the state- owned company in charge of the design, finance, construction and development of the New Mexico City International Airport (GACM), launched an international public tender to hire the construction of the foundation slab for the terminal building.

GACM requires bidders that have an immediate response capability, as well as the necessary technical and financial resources, in accordance with the characteristics, complexity and magnitude of the work to be performed.

• The amount assigned for this project: $ 537,068,965.51 MXN (VAT excluded)—approx. £22 million.

• A 20% advance payment will be awarded

• The period of execution for these works will be of 539 calendar days

Bidders must demonstrate the following:

- Service Methodology. The bidder must submit, according to the terms of reference established by the tender, the manner in which it proposes to use its resources for the execution of the service, as well as the procedures for carrying out related activities.

- Work Plan. The bidder must propose, according to the general and individual specifications established, when and how to carry out the activities or tasks involved in the execution of the service to ensure the fulfilment of the contract.
The work plan should include the characteristics of the steel and concrete to be used and the quality tests of these materials.

- Structural scheme of the Organisation (Organogram) including human resources structures.

- Curriculum of employees

- Bidder CV with ten years of experience in services on similar technical works, including excavation and foundations.

- Proven evidence of certified services in the last ten years.

- Documents certifying the bidder’s financial capability over the last two fiscal years.
