About the buyer

Located within the newly developed 21 High Street, regarded as the 'ultimate outdoor shopping destination' at the heart of Katara Cultural Village, this luxury department store is fashioned after the likes of Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols. 

In 2019, the store entered a collaboration with Victoria Beckham for the RTW collection, which was made exclusively available only at this store in Doha. In March 2024, the collection was made available in Paris.

The cultural village is spread over an area of 2 mllion square metres and hosts cultural events, festivities and activities all-year-round to draw large crowds to the area. 

80% of their customers come from the local Qatari population, and the 20% are mostly high net worth (HNW) expatriates. Their customers frequently shop in luxury department stores, and seek the same familiar brands.

Requirements

The biggest demand categories are for men's luxury apparel and accessories. However, they are open to any retail apparel or accessories for women and children.

They are only willing to entertain brands that are already showcasing at luxury department stores in the UK. Applicants should indicate which department store in the UK they are showcasing their brand, in order to be introduced to the buyer.
