Medium Landing Ship (LSM) Virtual Industry Day
Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), in support of Program Executive Office SHIPS (PEO SHIPS) and Amphibious Assault and Connector Program Office (PMS 317), is announcing an Virtual Industry Day to engage with prospective Offerors (U.S. Shipyards only) and Potential Vendors interested in submitting proposals in response to the Detail Design and Construction (DD&C) of the Medium Landing Ship (LSM) solicitation N00024-23-R-2469.
PMS 317 invites interested companies to a Virtual Industry Day event on 21 March 2024 from 1200-1400 EST. This event will be unclassified and held virtually via Microsoft Teams.
This Industry Day event allows the Navy to engage with Industry Partners to discuss the current Lead and Follow on LSM acquisition strategy, review the Economic Price Adjustment clause B-216-H003 and attachment J-21 LSM EPA Tables, and discuss proposal submittal timelines.  Additional topics to be discussed during the Virtual Industry Day can be submitted by Attendees with their registration request.  The Navy reserves the right to not address additional topics submitted.
Participants are required to pre-register for this event. Only prospective Offerors and Potential Vendors can attend the LSM Virtual Industry Day.  Registration will open at posting of this notice and close at 1600 EST on 19 March 2024. To register for event please e-mail Samantha.d.rye.civ@us.navy.mil and zachary.m.tucker2.civ@us.navy.mil with the e-mail heading of LSM VIRTUAL INDUSTRY DAY REGISTRATION.  In the e-mail please provide the e-mail address of the attendee and your company’s name and Unique Entity ID.
The link to the virtual meeting will be provided to those who register 24 hours in advance of the Virtual Industry Day.  The Virtual Industry Day link is per registered attendee and can not be shared.  Those attending the Virtual Industry Day will not be able to see any other attendees at the Virtual Industry Day.  Questions can be asked during the Virtual Industry Day via the chat function.  Only the host can see the questions via chat; however, the question will be read out loud by presenter/host and answers will be provided to all attendees.  Proprietary questions are not allowed in this forum.  Please use the LSM Solicitation bidders question format and instructions to submit proprietary questions.  Following the Virtual Industry Day all non-proprietary questions and answers will be provided to everyone who requested the LSM Solicitation via DoD Safe.

Amendment 0001 to Solicitation N00024-23-R-2469 and batch 02 of Bidder's Question Responses have been released.  The documents have been sent via DoD Safe to those prospective Offerors and Potential Vendors that requested Solicitation N00024-23-R-2469 per the instructions below.   
To request all documents related to Solicitation N00024-23-R-2469, all Prospective Offerors or Potential Vendors must send an electronic request with your company’s Unique Entity ID from SAM.gov, an e-mail address of whom within your company will receive the Solicitation and associated attachments from DoD safe (https://safe.apps.mil/), and explanation for requesting the LSM Solicitation.  Please note, personal e-mails (i.e. @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, etc.) cannot be used. Electronic request shall be submitted as follows:

ORIGINAL NOTICE 05 JANUARY 2024
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has a requirement for the Detail Design and Construction (DD&C) of the Medium Landing Ship (LSM). The LSM program is managed by the Amphibious, Assault, and Connectors, Program Office, PMS 317. The Solicitation provides for up to six (6) LSM ships, Technical Data Package (TDP), Life Cycle Engineering & Support (LCES) and Special Studies, Post Delivery Support, Provisioned Items, and Lead Yard Support efforts. 
LSM will provide protected maneuver and mobility of platoon-sized units from shore-to-shore in a contested shore in an operational environment by beaching and disembarking elements of expeditionary forces (personnel, mission equipment, vehicles, and supplies), without aid of small boats/lighters, utilizing bow and/or stern ramp system. 
LSM DD&C SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS 
The LSM DD&C Solicitation contains Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Therefore, the LSM DD&C Solicitation and all associated attachments are not publicly releasable on SAM.gov. To be eligible to receive the LSM Solicitation and associated attachments, the prospective Offeror must be a U.S. Shipyard. Potential Vendors with a valid need may also request the LSM Solicitation and associated attachments.
