(Cardiological) Interventions and Diagnostics within the CVIC at C2.1 MRI for the purpose of Diagnostics at C1.As well as the Installation and Maintenance of said equipment and the Training of UMC employees in the operation of said equipment.
AMC and Vumc have administratively merged under the name the Amsterdam UMC since June 7, 2018. Through this merger, together they form one department of cardiology, spread over two main locations. An important portfolio choice of the Amsterdam UMC is to concentrate cardiovascular care at location AMC. The choice fits within the formation of one intervention center in which the medical specialties of interventional cardiology and electrophysiology, vascular interventional radiology and interventional neuroradiology will come together in one joint Cardiovascular Intervention Center Amsterdam (CVIC), location AMC. In the new center, each discipline will have its own interventional treatment room along with a joint holding area that includes patient reception and admission facilities as well as recovery and discharge rooms. An MRI is also part of the Cardiovascular Intervention Center and will be specially equipped for MRI-guided cardiac interventions as well as for cardiological and vascular imaging in particular. The merging of cardiac and vascular interventions within one center allows us to be (and remain) leaders in this field. Because the disciplines work in one department, there is more interaction and it is easier to make use of each other's expertise. Cooperation at the intersections of each other's expertise creates the ideal environment for innovation in various fields ranging from workflow to combined or new procedures. The new CVIC will be realized at AMC location in building section C2. The new center will be put into use in mid-2026.Tender objective: The objective of this tender is to acquire - in a timely manner - the "nail-fixed" equipment or the equipment that affects the building and plant engineering of building section C2 of the AMC. As such, the following products fall within the scope of this public tender:Cardiological X-ray systems:5 Monoplanes, 2 Biplanes and 1 Hemodynamic measurement system serving 7 "Cath rooms".Radiological X-ray systems:1 Monoplane and 1 Biplane serving 2 "Angio rooms".MRIs:1 MRI serving (cardiological) interventions and diagnostics within the CVIC at C2. 1 MRI for the purpose of diagnostics at C1.As well as the Installation and Maintenance of said Equipment and the Training of UMC employees in the operation of said equipment.
