3rd Canadian Ranger Patrol Group (3CRPG), Department of National Defence requires a Contract to provide rations, over twelve (12) days for a group of up to 92 personnel. The period of the Contract is from 18 October 2019 to 29 October 2019 as detailed in Annex “A” Statement of Work.

The Contractor will be required to provide meals and snacks at the Ministry of Natural Resources facility located at Rinker Lake Ontario

Mandatory Requirement
The Bidder must clearly demonstrate that, within the past 3 years, it has provided food services to a large group in a remote location.

Large group is defined as a group that consists of at least 50 people; and

Remote location is defined as a location that is situated more than 100 km from an urban center (urban area is defined by Statistics Canada as an area with a population of at least 1,000 people where the density is no fewer than 400 persons per square kilometer.
The Bidder must provide current certifications as defined in Annex A para 3 for the personnel preparing the meals; and Food Handlers Ontario Food Handlers Certificate. Identify the individual’s work position for this service.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
