Request for Proposal (RFP) for Marine Display Equipment for Small Craft for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), Canadian Coast Guard (CCG)

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has a requirement to procure marine display equipment for small craft, as outlined in the Schedule 1 Pricing Schedule of the Request for Proposal.
SOURCING
It is proposed to solicit a competitive bid through Buy and Sell for this requirement.
The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
Delivery is requested on or before 31 March 2020.
Prices will be determined at the RFP Phase through competition. If only one compliant bid is received, price support and price certification will be requested.
SECURITY
There are no security requirements for this requirement.
BASIS OF PAYMENT
Bidders will be requested to propose Firm Unit Pricing for the equipment acquisition.
POLICY
This requirement is exempt from the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), the Canada Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA) and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). The requirement is subject to the provisions for Limited Tendering under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement (CLCA) is not applicable.
If a Contract is awarded as a result of this solicitation, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of their bid. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 5 working days of receipt of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.
As per policy requirements all notices posted on Buy and Sell will be in both official languages.
