Bergen Vann is an agency in Bergen Municipality. The agency must ensure good and satisfactory water supply and good and environmentally correct sewage treatment.Bergen Vann operates and manages the municipal water and sewage installations in Bergen Municipality, and operates the municipal water and sewage installations in Bjørnafjorden Municipality. Roads and streets in Bergen and Bjørnafjorden municipality contains approx. 20,000 manhole covers that are connected to the municipal Water and sewage systems. These manhole covers must be replaced regularly due to wear and tear. Approx. 1,000 manhole covers per annum are replaced in connection with this work. The framework agreement includes the procurement of manhole covers and manhole frames of different sizes and shapes.
