France - Maintenance work on the Routes d'Intérêt Communautaire of the Communauté de Communes du Haut Pays Bigouden

Description

The work is part of the maintenance program for the Routes d'Intérêt Communautaires (roads of common interest) of the Communauté de Communes du Haut Pays Bigouden, currently totalling 493 km. Most of the roads are class T4 or T5, and some are class T3.
Maintenance work concerns the road surface (asphalt repairs, reprofiling, plastering, etc.), the shoulders (levelling, delaminating, ditch cleaning, etc.) and miscellaneous development work (creation of speed bumps, installation of nozzles, etc.).
Development work concerns certain sections of roadway which will be treated in a linear fashion using alternative techniques such as emulsion asphalt and/or ECF. They also include work on soft traffic facilities, with a view to implementing the future territorial soft traffic plan.
