Description

Invitation to Tender: Louth Children and Young People’s Plan for 2024-26&Meath Children and Young People’s Plan for 2024-26 Louth and Meath Children and Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSC) invites tender submissions from suitably qualified candidates to develop a 3-year Children and Young People’s Plan (2024 – 2026) for each county. Children and Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSC) are a key structure identified by Government to plan and co-ordinate services for children and young people in every county in Ireland. Their age remit spans all children and young people aged from 0 to 24 years. The purpose of CYPSCs is to ensure effective interagency co-ordination and collaboration to achieve the best outcomes for all children and young people in their area. The Committees are responsible for improving the lives of children, young people and families at local and community level by improving provision and delivery of key services. ‘Young Ireland: National Policy Framework for Children and Young People 2023-2028’ is a key policy document for CYPSCs which provides a structure for planning and actions. “CYPSC: Shared Vision, Next Steps” provides the road map for the further development of the CYPSC initiative over the period 2019-2024. Louth CYPSC and Meath CYPSC were established in 2010 and 2011 respectively and draw their membership from statutory, community and voluntary providers of services to children, young people, and families in both counties. Both committees provide a forum at county level for joint planning, integrated service delivery and co-ordination of activity to ensure the delivery of improved and effective services for children, young people and their families. Both Louth and Meath CYPSCs are inviting tenders from individuals or companies with expertise in scoping and designing to develop their next 3-year plans (CYPPs). Drawing on data sources, policy frameworks, research, consultations with children, young people and parents and service providers, as relevant. Whilst there will be crossover regarding certain elements of each counties Children and Young Peoples Plan (CYPP), both CYPSC are seeking an individual, county specific CYPP. All local CYPSCs must follow a standard template for CYPPs. Enquire with joannea.murphy@tusla.ie Louth CYPSC Coordinator or leonard.callaghan@tusla.ie Meath CYPSC Coordinator for a copy of this template. Aim and Objectives Develop two 3-year CYPPs for the period 2024-2026 to target the needs of children, young people (0-24 years) and families for both counties Louth and Meath, aligned with National Policy and the Lundy Model of Child and Youth Participation. Please see full Tender Document attached below. Submissions Submissions should be emailed to both the Louth CYPSC Coordinator joannea.murphy@tusla.ie and the Meath CYPSC Coordinator leonard.callaghan@tusla.ie by 5pm on Friday 19th April 2024.
