Chile - Linguistic Encounter in the Province of Chiloé 2024

Description

To generate processes of diagnosis, rescue, promotion and practice of the Mapuche language and its territorial variants through technical support to traditional institutions (families), linked to language teaching in order to achieve that Mapuche people who are monolingual in Spanish learn Chezugun by participating in the experience of Linguistic Encounter, in the province of Chiloé.
1. Encourage Mapuche speakers and/or families to transmit their knowledge and mother tongue in childhood and/or youth by means of experiential and practical learning of the language of the Williche territory of Chiloé.
To define, conceptualize and systematize the Linguistic Workshop and its process of diagnosis, induction, development and evaluation of the learning among the williche people participating in the Linguistic Encounter.
3. To provide economic and methodological support to the participants of the Linguistic Encounter of Chiloé.
