Part of the programme is the location Bernebrege Opeinde. A former school location in the village of Opeinde has become vacant. In 2018, the college decided to designate this location as a search location for small-scale housing development in Opeinde.The goal is to realize 7 homes on the former school location of the primary school Doel Bernebrege in Opeinde. The ambition is that this development will meet the housing needs of the inhabitants of Opeinde. In addition, the municipality wants to respond to the consequences of the demographic development and the regional housing demand for smaller households.
