Description

The subject matter of the contract are laundry services1.1 The service will be performed for the organizational units of the Prison Service subordinate to the Regional Director of the Prison Service in Katowice in the period from 1st January 2022 to 31st December 20251.The scope of the service includes: collecting dirty clothes, bedding, linen and auxiliary equipment from the Ordering Party, water-washing of barracks linen, blankets, and, as needed, protective clothing and other items (curtains, drapes, tablecloths), hereinafter referred to as the assortment, chemical and thermal disinfection, drying, ironing, mangling and dry-cleaning of the assortment that cannot be water-washed, along with transporting the clean assortment to the Ordering Party's headquarters..3 The laundry assortment includes in particular: a) bed linen (bed covers, pillowcases, sheets),b) inmates' clothes (pyjamas, caps, denim clothes, etc.),c) staff protective clothes (aprons, blouses, trousers, jackets),d) covers for dirty laundry,e) bags,f)
1.10. Organizational requirements.1.10.1. The contracting authority requires a laundry room meeting the requirements of the Regulation of the Minister of Economy of 27.04.2000r. 1.10.1. The Contracting Authority shall require a laundry which meets the requirements of the Regulation of the Ministry of Economy of April 27, 2000 (Journal of Laws No. 40 of May 19, 2000, item 469) on health and safety at work in laundries.Washing, disinfecting and rinsing agents used by the Contractor must be certified by the PZH (National Institute of Hygiene), CE certified, must meet the requirements of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of 17 January 2003 on categories and groups of biocidal products by their destination or have an entry in the Register of Medical Devices in accordance with the Act of 20 May 2010 on medical devices (Journal of Laws 2021, item 1565) and contain no chlorine compounds. A single demand reported to the Contractor shall not necessarily include the service of washing all assortments, but only those for which there is currently a demand on the part of the Ordering Party. 1.10.4. The service of disinfecting individual assortments shall be ordered according to the Ordering Party's needs (several assortments per week). 1.10.5. Representatives of the Contractor of the subject matter of the contract, in order to carry out the order, shall have the right to enter the Ordering Party's property (also to enter by means of a delivery vehicle), upon presentation of an ID document and after unconditional deposit of any dangerous or prohibited items (such as mobile telephones, weapons, etc.) at the gate.1.10.6.The means of transport of dirty and clean linen should be separate or have a sealed and divided loading chamber so that the clean linen can not have any contact with the dirty linen.1.10.8. It is required to dispose of vehicles with the division into clean and dirty spheres.1.10.9. Each time during the distribution and acceptance of the laundry, in the presence of representatives of both parties, a protocol will be written on a collective document indicating the assortment quantities of the delivered laundry, specifying its total weight and the number of pieces of each assortment as well as comments on the condition of the laundry and its possible shortcomings.1Underwear, protective clothing and working clothes of the Ordering Party submitted for laundering shall be permanently marked by the Ordering Party with the Ordering Party's logo. 1.10.12. Repair of linen and clothing damaged during laundering and replacement of linen and clothing damaged during defective laundering. This requirement does not apply to already damaged linen or clothing submitted to the contractor for laundering.1.10.13. Linen not suitable for further use or repair shall be packed in a separate bag marked "disposal" or "repair".1.10.14. The person delivering the linen is obliged to have proper clothing - a protective apron and protective gloves.1.10.15. The Contractor shall be responsible for the Individual Ordering Party's assortment from the time of collection from the dirty linen warehouse until the clean assortment is transferred to the Individual Ordering Party's warehouse.11.10.16. The Contractor shall bear legal and material responsibility for the performed laundry services with respect to quality and compliance with sanitary requirements before the inspection authorities (Sanitary and Epidemiological Station, National Labour Inspectorate, Occupational Safety and Health).1.10.17. The Contractor shall be obliged to provide the service in another facility at its own expense in case of failure at the primary place of service.1.10.18. The Ordering Party shall have the right to lodge a complaint in case of incorrect performance of the service (free of charge).
