Australia - LAND 555 Phase 6 Force Level Electronic Warfare Invitation to Register

Description

An Invitation to Register Interest (ITR) for the procurement of a Force Level Electronic Warfare System under Land 555-6 Tranche 2 is released. The ITR seeks to obtain feedback from industry regarding the technical viability of the intended capability outcomes and to undertake a down-select of respondents to allow a limited Request for Tender (RFT) to be released subsequently.
The Commonwealth requires a force level Electronic Warfare (EW) mission system suitable for fitment to the Protected Mobility Electronic Platform Variant (PMEPV) Bushmaster, a trailer, or other in-service protected mobility options. This Invitation to Register (ITR) comprises three components, an Electronic Attack (EA) mission system, an Electronic Support (ES) mission system and a Command and Control (C2) mission system.
The EA mission system is to be capable of jamming techniques to deny adversary use of the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS); disrupt and degrade adversary communications systems; provision of misleading information to deceive; and assess the effectiveness of battle management.
The ES mission systems is to be capable of detecting adversary use of the EMS, locating the source, identifying, tracking, exploiting, recording, analysing and reporting adversary communications and electronic signatures.
The C2 mission system is to be capable of networking/communicating at the tactical and operational/strategic levels; and battle management including providing situational awareness, planning, coordinating, analysing and reporting.
The Commonwealth has undertaken a Request for Information (CASG/JSD/RFI0234/17) to identify current capabilities in the market. Subsequent to the ITR, the Commonwealth intends to conduct a down-select prior to the release of a limited Request for Tender (RFT).
