Description

You should be able to supply fire pumps with the following specifications:

- coupled , horizontal, split case, single stage centrifugal type with a speed of 2,900rpm
- bronze impeller, stainless steel shaft, cast ductile iron casing, bronze case wearing ring, mechanical seal
- air bleed off valve, a compound gauge at suction and pressure gauge at discharge, casing pressure relief valve and flexible connections at suction and discharge
- pump casing and flange shall be suitable for a working water pressure rating, pumps shall have name plate stating theses parameters
- electrical motor should be squirrel cage induction, delta wound
- the motor power shall be rated for continuous operation at 150% of the pump nominal flow

The KBBC is the chosen supplier for the Department for International Trade in Kuwait.
