National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)/Kennedy Space Center (KSC) plans to award a HUBZone sole source, firm fixed price purchase order for vegetation clearing at KSC.

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-02. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This requirement is being procured as a competitive request for quotation (RFQ) to all HUBZone vendors for the vegetation clearing at KSC, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). As a result of this solicitation, the Government intends to award a single, firm-fixed-price purchase order.
The proposal due date is June 27, 2019, 12:00 PM (noon) local time.
Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted on Attachment D and shall be submitted to Regina Clifton at email address: regina.clifton@nasa.gov no later than June 17, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. (noon) local time.
Notice of Site Visit
Kennedy Space Center will host a Site Visit on June 13, 2019, for prospective offerors to tour selected areas within the scope of the solicitation requirements. Attendees will meet at the NASA Badging Office located on the south side of SR 405 at 9:00 A.M. The tour will consist of an escort and a maximum of two (2) attendees from the potential offeror including its team members, subcontractors or partners.
Notify the Contracting Officer, Regina Clifton, at email address: regina.clifton@nasa.gov of your intention to attend the site visit by 12:00 P.M. on June 10, 2019, and provide the below information required for badging at this time:

The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet on the Government-wide point of entry (GPE). The GPE can be accessed via the Internet at http://fedbizopps.gov. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
