Australia - Kerbside Bin Audit

Description

East Waste invites quotes from respondents for the provision of kerbside bin auditing of all three streams from across East Waste’s eight Member Council (the Services).

East Waste is seeking to engage a suitably qualified person(s) or organisation(s) to undertake two separate, but concurrent kerbside bin audits.
1. East Waste Super Audit
A sample audit of 75 kerbside bins across all three core collection streams (recyclables, green organics and general waste), from each of East Waste’s eight (8) Member Councils (total of 1,800 bins). The objective of the audit is to collect sufficient data to assist with measuring Strategic Plan Key Performance Indicators, material efficiency and contamination levels (in all three streams) across all East Waste Member Councils. The audit outcomes will inform East Waste’s on-going education focus and behavioural change strategies.
The audit will provide data required to develop a follow up report to the successful 2019 Household Bin Audit, and 2022 Household Bin Audit. A copy of the reports is available upon request.
 
2. Adelaide Hills Council FOGO Trial interim Audit
A sample audit to measure the efficacy of the three Adelaide Hills Council FOGO trials which commenced in October 2023. Landfill and Organics Bins will be audited from those participating in the trial and those that aren’t, culminating in a total of 12 subset audit. The objective of the audit is to collect sufficient data to assist with measuring landfill diversion, food material efficiency and contamination levels across the three trial areas. The audit outcomes will assist informing Adelaide Hills Council on future waste provisions to rural and township properties.
