SITE VISITS

During the tender period, the project manager will organize two (2) site visits:

1st site visit date: April 16, 2024 Time of visit: 1:30 PM
2nd site visit date: April 19, 2024 Time of visit: 09:00

Location: The on-site meeting point is at the reception desk at the main entrance to the building.
INSTRUCTIONS (SITE VISITS)
Tenderers wishing to attend a site visit must confirm their attendance in advance by e-mail to the designated officer in charge of the tendering process, at least 24 hours (working day) in advance. The date and time of the visit will be confirmed to bidders interested in a site visit.

Bidders are responsible for obtaining adequate information and evaluating the nature and scope of the work, and for familiarizing themselves with the site and conditions affecting the performance of the work. All bidders will be deemed to have visited the site, and no claim for lack of knowledge of the site will be entertained.
If necessary, questions will be answered by means of an addendum. No verbal information provided during the visit will engage the responsibility of the public body. In the event of any discrepancy between verbal exchanges during the visit and the tender documents, the latter shall take precedence.
If bidders, contractors and subcontractors who visit the site have questions, it is their responsibility to forward their questions by e-mail to the person in charge of the tendering process designated for the call for tenders.
At no time should bidders or subcontractors forward their questions to the professionals indicated in the plans and specifications.
Only questions forwarded to the administrative agent will be considered by the public body for the purposes of this call for tenders.
If necessary, questions will be answered by means of an addendum.
No verbal information provided during the visit will engage the responsibility of the public body. In the event of any discrepancy between verbal exchanges during the visit and the tender documents, the latter shall take precedence.
VALIDITY OF BIDS
The bid is valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the bid opening date.
Obtaining documents : Tenderers must obtain tender documents directly through the "SÉAO" tender posting system, failing which their tender may not be considered by the public body.
For the purposes of awarding the contract, only bids from contractors having an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by such agreement and holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act (LRQ c.B.-1.1) will be considered.
Bidding contractors are responsible for the selection of subcontractors, both in terms of their creditworthiness and the content of their bids. All bids must be made in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation respecting construction contracts of public bodies adopted pursuant to the Act respecting contracts of public bodies (R.S.Q., c. C-65.1, r. 5).
All bidders interested in signing a contract of $25,000 or more with a public body must hold an attestation from Revenu Québec (ARQ). Tenderers must submit their attestation de Revenu Québec (ARQ) to the CSSP with their tender, failing which their tender will be rejected.
