SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS

The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for a full service contract to include preventative and corrective maintenance, on-site service and remote phone support service for two (2) existing Carestream portable X-Ray machines, and related assemblies. This full-service maintenance contract requires OEM certified technicians to perform work and use OEM certified parts and software updates/upgrades when service is required. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement and any relevant set-asides. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811219 Medical and surgical equipment repair and maintenance services with a Size Standard $20.5 million.

This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.

If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information:

Verification/proof that your firm has the capability to perform all PM and emergent repairs on above listed Carestream portable x-ray machines per the OEM s specifications. The submittal must include proof that your firm can obtain OEM parts, OEM materials and OEM software upgrades. Please also provide your company DUNS number, point of contact, and phone number with your submission.

BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SDVOSBs, VOSBs, or SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION.

The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated.

Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 1000 CT on July 18, 2019. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to Kristine.Sutton@va.gov. Electronic documents shall be submitted in .pdf, doc, or .xls and restricted to emails of less than 10MB as that is the maximum single email size allowable. Communication containing documents in any other format may be blocked or stripped by the Government s server and may not be received by this office. Files exceeding 10MB may not be received by this office. It is the contractor s responsibility to verify that submissions are received.
