Description

An institution (VRT) wishes to conclude a framework agreement to build and manage an object storage infrastructure.

The infrastructure will be deployed within the management of the media archive.

The environment will be built up over multiple sites / data centres.

The architecture will offer good durability and availability and will be easy to expand. It offers sufficient performance and bandwidth to the media applications.

The environment offers the possibility to integrate with cloud services.

In a package with this infrastructure, you are also asked to create and implement an operational context, including procedures, monitoring, maintenance, management and trending.

They expect the following mandatory variants to be worked out:

1) the infrastructure is offered and installed in the VRT data centres. Management of the environment is performed by the provider;
2) the object storage environment is offered by the provider as a service (managed service) on their own storage infrastructure;
3) the environment is offered in a cloud model.

In this context, VRT is looking for a partner that makes it possible to consume object storage environment via an innovative public cloud. This partner is either this public cloud itself or an official reselling partner of this public cloud.

These 3 variants must be offered.

The tenderer offers support in Dutch.
