ALDB GmbH ("ALDB") was founded in 2010 as Alcatel-Lucent Digitalfunk Betriebsgesellschaft mbH and took over the operation of the BOS digital radio network for authorities and organizations with security tasks in the same year.Since then, ALDB has operated the world's largest BOS digital radio network for the Federal Agency for Digital Radio of Security Authorities and Organizations (BDBOS) and the Authorized Bodies of the German Federal States and the Federal Government.Since January 1, 2019, ALDB has been a subsidiary of BDBOS and now operates under the name ALDB GmbH.Network operation for Germany is ALDB's core competence. ALDB is the network operator in the high-security environment - for BOS digital radio and the federal government's networks.
