Description
The Main-Kinzig-Kreis is looking for a service provider for the commissioning and operation of the ITC equipment who can offer onsite and remote support "IMAC/D" for IT end devices, their operating systems and software and other IT equipment of the MKK IT infrastructure in the offices, departments, own companies of the MKK and at home workstations of employees in administration and schools (hereinafter referred to collectively as "MKK locations"). In addition, the Contractor shall implement the rollout (installation, commissioning) for devices and network and network technology in the course of the funded Digital Pact project. As part of the Digital Pact, approx. 92 schools will be equipped with new WLAN technology and other IT equipment, among other things.The service is to be provided at the headquarters of Office 12 (client, Gelnhausen). In addition, in the course of the onsite support, all properties of the MKK and its schools are possible as a deployment location within the MKK. The MKK extends over an area of approx. 100 km between west and east and approx. 50 km between north and south.The support is also to be provided for home offices of employees of the administrations and schools. The support services only relate to end devices provided by the MKK on which access to the MKK network via Citrix is to be ensured.In addition, the contractor shall provide a turnkey warehouse which, on the one hand, meets the requirements of standard operation (4-5 pallet spaces), but can also cover the storage capacities for the rollout to be carried out at the beginning of the contract term for the implementation of the Digital Pact (approx. 30 pallet spaces).For the rest, see the award documents.
The following overview services are to be provided in principle:- Installation (I), relocation (M), additions (A) and changes (C), of IT devices (PCs, notebooks, mobile terminals, servers, etc.) and network components at the MKK locations- Installation, maintenance, update and troubleshooting of software on the IT devices- Configuration and commissioning of IT devices and network components incl. Maintenance of IT devices and network components according to the specifications of this contract- Analysis of errors and elimination of faults on IT devices and network components as well as software- Consulting, instruction and training of employees at the MKK sites- Provision of logistics services for the distribution of IT devices and network components incl. storage capacity Proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance of IT equipment and network components, including the development and communication of proactive solutions. Development and communication of proactive solution proposals for error prevention and for the maintenance of a modern hardware and software architecture- Documentation of the activities (solution & inventory)- The assigned forces have to ensure that the security of the devices and infrastructures are not impaired by their actions and that in the event that security gaps are identified, these are immediately reported to the client in writing- Administrative activities of the virtual server environment in the data center- User administration and asset management- Monitoring and updating the validity of tokens for device management- License monitoring. All installed programs and operating systems must be monitored to avoid under- or over-licensing.- The contractor must organize himself in such a way that he works through several sites in one go in the course of on-site assignments, so that little travel time is incurred.- New software requirements of the schools must be checked (licensing, approval by school authorities) and prepared for automated distribution. The contractor must describe its experience and possibilities of device management and software packaging.- Participate in the development of a portal. All apps should be available here for all schools, so that the school or IT representative can independently assign the APPs to the devices.- The contractor must keep the installed operating systems, virus scanners, programs and APPs up to date and monitor them. Security gaps and bugs must be eliminated immediately. Software packaging must be documented and tested prior to installation. Different software versions at the individual tenants are not permissible.- The contractor is expected to inform the client immediately about challenges, innovations, simplification, possibilities for increasing efficiency, IT security of the environment to be managed and to make recommendations for further development.- In the event that the school itself procures equipment or equipment is donated to the school, the Contractor must first coordinate the possible use and integration of the equipment with the Customer and obtain written approval for the possible integration.- The Contractor must carry out the rollout of the new solution from the manufacturer Aruba at the school and administrative locations described in section 1.2. With the changeover to the Aruba solution, the Contractor must also continue to provide operating services in addition to the IMAC/D in accordance with the defined service levels in section 2.15. In the course of the rollout project for the Digital Pact, the Contractor must implement the rollout for equipment and network and network technology in the course of the funded Digital Pact project. In total, the rollout affects 93 schools in the Main-Kinzig district with around 2,200 classrooms as well as a further approx. 40 administrative locations, the latter however without subsidies. In the course of this tender, capacities for the rollout of the project will also be awarded. The following services will be provided:- Unpacking of the equipment, inventory of the components, software and firmware installation, configuration according to specifications and introduction of the devices into the installation rollout.- Installation and commissioning of WLAN access points, switches, LAN routers on site.- Implementation of patching between the hardware components.- Supporting the administration and commissioning of the IT equipment such as WLAN access points, switches, LAN routers, digital whiteboard, etc.- Preparing the Microsoft tenants (schools) for the integration of the existing devices.- Integrating the existing devices on site into the device management.- Moving the end devices from the previous MDM to the MS Endpoint Manager.- Administration of the existing device management (Microsoft Endpoint Manager)- Software packaging and distribution- On-site service (for problems that cannot be solved remotely)- Operation and administration of the educational Microsoft environment in the client's data center with virtualization- Proactive monitoring (tenants, hardware e.g. Proactive monitoring (tenants, hardware such as LAN, WLAN), automated messages to the customer's ticket system, incident management- Operation and administration of the educational Microsoft environment in the customer's data center with virtualizationIn order to be able to carry out the operation and rollout services, the contractor must maintain a warehouse.The contractor must also be able to carry out the required support at the home workstations of the employees of the administrations and schools. This initially involves support for the user's end device provided by the customer and access to the customer's network via Citrix.The use of an IT architect is only possible after approval by the Onsite Services Process Manager.
