Vision of the health portal:With the launch of a national health portal, the BMG will close a significant gap in the market for digital health information on the German-language Internet, which has so far been primarily commercial. Content is of central importance for the launch of this project.Content Basis & Content Partnerships:Integrating and editing partner content:In order to provide the portal with the required amount of articles for the launch of the trial operation, the BMG will work with selected partners. In consultation with the BMG, these institutions will be involved editorially as content partners for the health portal and will provide as part of the editorial team specialist basic texts and content tailored to evidence-based criteria. The editorial office (creates and) uses an editorial guide and Tone of Voice and prepares delivered texts according to portal-specific requirements. responsibility, location of the editorial office: the client and portal carrier is the BMG. However, the content partners are responsible for the correctness and evidence-based soundness of the delivered articles and content from a professional point of view. The responsibility for press law lies with the contractor (V. i. S. d. P.).the portal editorial staff of the contractor should be granted the necessary independence, capacity and expertise (and should take on more and more of this expertise in the course of the project), not only to edit the content of the content partners but also to produce it themselves if they cannot ensure it in the time frame required for the portal for capacity reasons.Setup and expansion phases of the portal editorial department 2020:Constitution & basic production:With the help of an interim editorial department, the client creates a content basis for the rollout of the portal. This basis comprises a defined number and list of medical articles until market entry including further MVP-relevant content. To create the content, cooperation with and integration of partner institutions is established. The client's content partners are closely involved in the editing and production of the articles or take over these themselves. The portal editorial team initially assumes the main function of coordinating the delivery of content and curating, editing and maintaining the so-called content base for market entry into the portal. It is recommended that already established processes and system-specific know-how from the previous production phase be integrated into the central editorial office (if necessary, the personnel structures of the contractors can be taken over or subcontracted for this purpose).production and specialist editorial office live operation:From the rollout of the health portal in summer 2020, the editorial office will manage the live operation of the portal and successively expand the existing content base. At this time, a central editorial office for the portal is to be established which will meet the technical and system-specific requirements of the planned content expansion in live operation in terms of both quality and quantity. The portal editorial team is expected to have considerable editorial autonomy. The technical and journalistic expertise of the authors must be taken into account when putting together the team. The tasks of the central editorial office include:- Continuation, expansion of the content base (knowledge articles: diagnoses, symptoms, medication, etc.) (see production phase) and updating of the articles in the event of relevant technical news;- Cooperation/editorial integration with the partners is continued according to the client's specifications and must be coordinated accordingly;- Development, implementation and expansion of service and digital topics (e.g., news, information, news, news, news, news, news, etc.) Development, implementation and expansion of service and digital topics (e.g. directory of doctors, self-help groups, etc.);- Increased expansion of multimedia content (audio, video);- Launching of further article types beyond the knowledge base (guides, studies);- Topic identification and editorial planning with event-related content;- Inclusion of user surveys/user feedback;- Possibly future community management. Editorial team:Depending on the project phase, the project therefore requires organizational, editorial, technical or media expertise in various forms. It requires the specialist personnel that makes up an agile digital content editorial team and at the same time can meet the qualitative requirements for a high level of scientific substantiation of the content. Editorial preparation up to rollout (by June 2020):The initial portal editorial team is initially entrusted with planning tasks. This includes in particular familiarizing the portal with all topics, planning and designing text types, defining technical requirements and creating the publication workflow and an initial editorial guide for editorial staff and suppliers. All these processes are documented and made available to the contractor. The contractor can build on this preliminary work when taking over portal operation.Portal editorial office live operation (from June 2020):The following editorial structure is proposed for the composition of the central editorial office and the content expansion of the portal1. Editorial project management,2. editorial management/Head of Service (CvD),3. curators/content editors,4. editor/author,5. producer/multimedia professional,6. analyst/SEO expert,7. portal manager/CMS expert,8. possibly community management.for the rest, see the other award documents, in particular in Lot 2 Specifications.
