1. Introduction: today VRT's digital products run in the public cloud at AWS. VRT wishes to retender the contract. In this context, VRT is looking for a partner that can support the current environment and provide advice. This partner is an official reselling partner of AWS to ensure the continuity of the current environment. Proactive services and innovative initiatives are expected. He has an eye for costs and a thorough knowledge of AWS. Knowledge and offering of services and licenses on other clouds is a plus. Furthermore, the partner offers additional services, specifically consultancy services, managed hosting services and administrative services.2. Public cloud services: in order to meet its digital mission, VRT currently employs an extensive technology stack in its current web farm, consisting of the following non-exhaustive list and services consisting of the following non-exhaustive list and ranked by importance:- Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud,- Amazon CloudFront,- Amazon Relational Database Service,- Elastic Load Balancing,- Amazon Elasticsearch Service,- AmazonCloudWatch,- Amazon ElastiCache,- Amazon Simple Storage Service,- AWS WAF,- Amazon DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility),- Amazon DynamoDB,- Amazon Elastic File System,- AWS Lambda,- Amazon Virtual Private Cloud,- Amazon GuardDuty,- Amazon Elastic MapReduce,- AWS Key Management Service,- And a 45 other AWS services.VRT retains architectural ownership. The provider provides consulting and audit services on this according to well-architected design principles.Extremely important qualities that VRT strives for in its digital products are high availability, high performance, fast elastic scalability, security, maintainability and supportability.We expect the services offered to be able to cover this and simplify these concerns.High usability, documentation level and automability is expected from all services.3. Consultancy services: on demand, the partner can provide consultancy services. Consultancy services are offered on existing as well as on new and future cloud services, for architecture, devops and sysops issues, data services & big data, AI, IoT etc. These services are offered: - Remote, with guarantees on fast delivery terms or by appointment, - Onsite, with guarantees on fast delivery terms or by appointment, - In Dutch, - On demand or at fixed price, The partner has sufficient experienced Dutch speaking experts on board in the offered cloud technologies to meet these needs. Managed hosting services: the partner can help VRT set up and manage VRT sites/apps on AWS completely autonomously, according to pre-agreed best practices;5. Administrative services: the partner can offer VRT billing and reporting services for the cloud services purchased. It provides advice on cost optimisations that could be carried out. It offers audit services on the architecture and cost structure.
