INVITATION TO BID FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF LABORATORY SUPPLIES FOR MGB - CAR The Mines & Geosciences Bureau-CAR, through the authorized appropriations under the 2017 General Appropriations Act intends to apply the sum of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (Php120,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF LABORATORY SUPPLIES for the MGB - CAR. Any bid/s received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected during bid opening. The Mines & Geosciences Bureau-CAR now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Procurement as described below: LABORATORY SUPPLIES: NO. Schedule of Requirements). Bidders should have completed, within the schedule under Section VI from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Mines & Geosciences Bureau-CAR and Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) Secretariat and secure/ acquire the Bidding Documents at the address given below during 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders starting November 12, 2018 until 12 Noon of November 28, 2018 from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Five Hundred Pesos (Php500.00). It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the BAC Secretariat office of the Procuring Entity. Provided, that Bidders shall pay the non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids. Bids must be submitted / delivered to the address below on or before 1:00PM of November 28, 2018. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration Form. Bid opening shall be 1:30PM of November 28, 2018 at MGB-CAR Conference Hall, 80 Diego Silang St. Baguio City. Bids will be opened in the presence of the actual Bidders and/or its duly authorized representatives who choose to attend at the said address. Late bids shall not be accepted (Wall Clock is provided at the MGB Hall). The MINES & GEOSCIENCES BUREAU-CAR, 80 Diego Silang St., Baguio City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
