Germany - Inventory, furniture planning and coordination for relocation projects at the University of Hamburg

As a university of excellence with more than 43,000 students and around 6,000 employees, the University of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as "UHH") is one of the strongest research universities in Germany and at the same time one of the largest educational institutions in northern Germany. With its concept of a "flagship university" in the Hamburg metropolitan region, it cultivates innovative and cooperative links with scientific and non-scientific partners. It produces for the location ? but also nationally and internationally ? the future-oriented social goods of education, knowledge and the exchange of knowledge under the guiding principle of sustainability.

In the coming years, the University of Hamburg intends to develop new properties in order to professionally strengthen and support the steady growth in the research and teaching environment. This includes moving into new buildings as well as relocating within the available space. External support is essential in a dynamic environment of changing developments in order to best combine the resulting challenges with the various stakeholder groups within and outside the University of Hamburg.

Essentially, the University of Hamburg requires regular support for the following services:

? ? conducting inventories, including the quantitative recording of the volume of existing properties to be moved, including a qualitative analysis and written description,
? Preparation of furnishing plans for laboratories, teaching collections, workshops, warehouses, seminar rooms and offices,
? Coordination services for relocation planning and implementation.

The aim of this procedure is to conclude a framework agreement with an efficient service provider in accordance with § 21 VgV. Individual contracts are to be awarded on the basis of this agreement if there is a corresponding need. Each individual contract based on the framework agreement to be concluded will be awarded by the University of Hamburg in its own name and for its own account in accordance with Section 21 (3) VgV.

In addition to the conclusion of a framework agreement, as mentioned above, this procedure also includes the award of a first individual contract for the furnishing planning for the new building project "Haus der Erde" (House of Earth) of the University of Hamburg. (HdE) of the University of Hamburg. The HdE is expected to be occupied by Q1 to Q3 2025. The furnishing planning is to begin immediately after the contract is awarded and should be completed by October 2024 if possible.
