Description

The construction project "New building at the Geomatikum - NaG" of the University of Hamburg is located on the property Bundesstraße 55 south of the traffic junction "Beim Schlump - Bundesstraße". The new building consists of a compact 7-storey polygonal institute building with partly 2 basement floors, which is located at a sufficient distance from the Schröderstift and directly adjoins the north side of the Geomatikum. The floors primarily house laboratories and research rooms with associated office space. The passive house standard applies to the use and operation of the building.
The central fresh air supply of the western part of the building is provided by 2 central systems, L02 closed roof central approx. 180 000 m3/h supply and exhaust air, additional fresh air admixture for WRG, as well as L03 basement approx. 73 000 m3/h additional fresh air admixture for WRG. The air quantities are to be designed according to the laboratory guidelines, as well as the individual evacuation points of the laboratory equipment such as digestories, cabinets, single place exhaust systems, etc. The heat recovery of the central systems L02 and L03 is carried out via a multifunctional heat exchanger system on the basis of modularly constructed counterflow layer heat exchangers (GSWT), with which heat recovery is carried out in winter and cold recovery in summer. Furthermore, a hydraulic circuit is used for the reheating of the chillers planned in the west building section. The hydraulic system of the heat recovery system of the main plant is also housed in the central units and is to be installed here ready for operation, including the necessary piping of the heat recovery system and electrical/control cabling, as well as commissioning. The units are installed free-standing on the outside of the roof. Each unit has 33 000 m3/h. Special ventilation systems for the area of the laser technology in the basement, including special air outlets for the air supply are planned.Generally, a laying of the ducts in central shafts to the floors and further into the levels is planned. The crossings of qualified fire section separations will be bulkheaded by means of fire dampers. A special duct routing is carried out via PPs ducts, as well as PPs-el ducts (explosion protection) of certain laboratory exhaust air areas. The individual exhaust air fans PPs and PPs-el required for laboratory exhaust air are planned for special storage cabinets for acids and alkalis, as well as gas bottle cabinets on the roof.A partial area of the design ventilation west was already installed during the construction of the 1 BA's (component EAST), partial areas are incomplete and not finally installed, or must be rebuilt. This gap closure and the necessary modification and adaptation work are also the subject of the tender and have been recorded separately in a title.Essential technical parameters:- approx. 197 laboratories on approx. 6 400 m2,- central systems with WRG system approx. 260 000 m3/h supply and exhaust air,- 2 GSWT systems incl. hydraulics, control and piping,- presence air conditioning units for seawater areas with accessories,- approx. 66 000 m3 ATEX laboratory digestor exhaust air,- 16 roof laboratory exhaust air fans (partly Atex),- approx. 12 500 m2 sheet metal duct (of which approx.),- approx. 870 BSK angular/round (partly coated, stainless steel coated),- approx. 150 m2 stainless steel AL duct seawater areas,- approx. 4 500 m spiral duct,- approx. 1 300 m2 self-supporting calcium silicate duct,- approx. approx. 850 m2 PPs/ PPs-el ductwork,- approx. 2 300 m PPs/ PPs-el ventilation piping,- approx. 85 laboratory ventilation controls,- special air diffusers for laboratory and seawater areas,- ventilation ceilings in seawater areas,- ancillary and verification services.
