An Indian leading Aluminum die casting components, machined & painted assemblies supplier, supplying to world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer and renowned automobile OEMs is looking for parternips with UK companies. The Indian company has expertise in all the three casting processes (GDC, LPDC, and HPDC) with capacity of more than 65000 tonnes of aluminum processing annually. An industry leader in 2 wheeler alloy wheels with installed capacity of 5.4 million wheels annually. Apart from 2 wheeler alloy wheels, the company is into manufacturing of cylinder head, cylinder block, crank case, crank case covers, oil pan, transmission housing, automotive chains, etc. The company is exploring opportunities to diversify their automobile business and have short-listed few components/opportunities they would like to work on.

1) Composite- The company is actively looking to venture into composites components manufacturing in India. For this they would be interested in JV/partnership/technical alliance with UK firms looking to set up facility in India. From sector point of view, they would be interested in firms catering to Aerospace & Defence, Motorsports, and Boating. As certifications are stringent in A&D, so they can start with motorsports or boating and acquire the capabilities and knowhow.
2) Automotive-
a. Acquisition opportunities into Al die casting components with turnover ranging from USD 50-90 million
b. Opportunities in active safety space and automobile electronics through joint venture/technological collaboration/partnership
c. Combined braking system (CBS) for 2 wheelers
