Description

The Hong Kong Museum of History’s permanent exhibition entitled “The Hong Kong Story” has been opened since 2001. About 10,000,000 visitors have already seen the exhibition. As the museum collections continue to expand and breakthroughs are made in innovative display techniques, it is important that the permanent exhibition moves with the times. In order to bring in new artefacts and advanced technology, and make the presentation more dynamic and appealing to the public, The Hong Kong Museum of History are planning to conduct a thorough renovation of the entire exhibition.

The tender will be starting early next year. To draw on the collective wisdom of various stakeholders, such as museum expert advisers who specialise in the relevant fields as well as museum docents, The Hong Kong Museum of History initiated a consultation exercise with them last year, while this year they will be meeting with a number of other interested groups, including representatives from the education sector and youth and academic organisations.

Please register your interest with our team in Hong Kong who will be happy to provide additional information.
