The contract is a sub-contract in the builder-managed operations contract in operations area 0901 Setesdal. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration has responsibility for inspecting and monitoring the road network. All work on the road network is done in accordance with orders placed by the builder. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration will establish plans for the execution of the work, with a statement on the location and time.This contract is for delivering, setting out, supplementing and taking down snow poles for each winter season, as well as storing snow poles between the winter seasons. The assignment also includes cutting back vegetation by the road side and in places where there is a requirement for visibility, as well as cleaning bridges and roads (sweeping).

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration will establish plans for the execution of the work, with a statement on the location and time. Emphasis is put on the fact that the requirements and times for the execution of the work stated in the descriptive part of the contract (chapter D1) are advisory, and that it is the requirements and deadlines stated in the concrete order from the builder that will apply.This contract is for delivering, setting out, supplementing and taking down snow poles for each winter season, as well as storing snow poles between the winter seasons. The assignment also includes cutting back vegetation by the road side and in places where there is a requirement for visibility, as well as cleaning bridges and roads (sweeping).The work is to be carried out on the road network in operations area 0901 Setesdal, which stretches from the border between Vennesla Municipality and Evje and Hornnes Municipality in the south to the barrier by Hovden Fjelstoge in the north. From 01.09.2024 the road network could be extended to the south of the border between Vennesla Municipality and Evje and Hornnes Municipality to Skarpengland at the junction between national road 9 and Drivenesvegen (county road 454 ), so that the work assignments in this contract will also be carried out on national road 9 with the accompanying national foot and cycle paths within this stretch. The road network from Skarpengland to the border between Vennesla Municipality and Evje and Hornnes Municipality is therefore an option in the contract.
