Description

The Government of Saint Vincent and The Grenadines (GOSVG) has received financing towards the cost of the Natural Disaster Management – Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (the project) and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to the Reconstruction of Windward Highway – God Save the Queen Bridge.

The Ministry of Transport, Works, Lands and Physical Planning (MTW), the implementing agency, through its Natural Disaster Management – Project Implementation and Management Unit (NDM PIMU) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the works which includes, but is not limited to:

- construction of a new bypass bridge

- demolition of the existing God Save the Queen bridge

- reconstruction of a new concrete bridge

- construction of wing walls and river embankment protection

- realignment of 179 metres of the Windward Highway
