United States - Harm Reduction Response Team Mobile Treatment Vehicles

Description

The Harm Redcution Response Team (HRRT), based out of the Bureau of Communicable Diseases - Harm Reduction Unit (BCD-HR) is seeking to purchase two (2) high roof extended length cargo vans to use for HRRT services. These vehicles will travel throughout the state providing critically needed services to unrepresented/underserved populations in rural communities at risk for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and opioid overdose.
These vehicles are essential for direct implementation of the BCD-HRU mission throughout Wisconsin and are necessary tools for BCD-HRU’s team to maximize their availability to move Wisconsin's drug user health forward while meeting the diversity, equity and inclusion needs for all our community members.
