Description

The purpose of this proposal is the justification and description of the service actions necessary for the monitoring of the piezometric network of the Sardas landfill, the pumping of free residue accumulated in the piezometers, the application and development of techniques to improve extraction yields, the assessment of the effectiveness of runoff control measures, the study and application of remediation techniques for different matrices, the integration of all the information generated in these works to the conceptual model of the Sardas landfill, the evaluation of the effectiveness of the runoff control measures, the study and application of remediation techniques for different matrices, the integration of all the information generated in these works to the conceptual model of the Sardas landfill and the improvement of the mathematical model and the dimensioning of the balance of discharges to the receiving environment.Also included are a series of works to improve the available infrastructures and a series of boreholes to improve the knowledge of the aquifer and to carry out decontamination works. The following works have been considered in the following chapters:- Hydrogeological monitoring of the network and control of the contamination plume- Technical assistance- Infrastructure maintenance- Execution of boreholes for research- Remediation with physical-chemical treatments- Bioremediation tests- Treatment of contaminants in low permeability media using electroremediation techniques.
