Description
The Hawrat Sanad Project, part of a Government Land Development Programme, involves the development of 47 housing units on government owned land. The units will be developed by the private sector. Bidders will compete for a license to develop the project, and the one offering the highest land value while meeting all technical criteria will be chosen. The successful bidder will be responsible for designing, financing, and constructing the 47 housing units, which includes two 11Kv substations and any necessary secondary infrastructure. The developer will sell these units to beneficiaries of MoHUPs social housing financing programs. After the projects completion and the sale of all units, the developer must pay MoHUP the agreed land value. Additionally, MoHUP will offer a buy back arrangement for any units that remain unsold 24 months after the projects construction is completed.
