Description
According to the plans of the Italian architect Gaetano Chiaveri, the Cathedral of Ss. Trinitatis was built as the Catholic Court Church for the Saxon electors and kings of Poland between 1739 and 1755. It is considered an outstanding example of Roman Baroque in Germany. The interior of the church is also of great importance. Thus, the main altarpiece and the paintings of several side altars as well as the pulpit in the nave are by important artists of the 18th century. The Silbermann organ of the cathedral is particularly outstanding, also for the musical life in Dresden: the work is carried out in a building of the highest quality in terms of monument preservation and in the immediate vicinity of art objects and requires a special degree of expertise, prudence, care and reliability.Description of services:- 3 wooden windows as multiple - cross-storey windows, with 6 turning sashes, 3 fixed sashes and fixed arched skylight,-- window with oak cover layers and coniferous wood core,-- design as insulating glass window wood thickness 70 mm frame, 78 mm sash profile,-- window system without rain rail with sash weather leg, Tenon-slot connections without V-joint, window profile with 4 mm rebate air,-- External painting in a linseed oil system with mineral binders, glaze (acrylic-based) on the inside,-- Metal Z-profiles inserted on the internal glass holding strips as sashes to accommodate the historical art glazing,-- Glazing of the exterior glazing as insulating glass in a patchwork system with real antique glass (hand-blown) on the outside as laminated safety glass, glass edge seal as warm edge, inside ESG white glass 10 mm with coating and increased light-technical requirements,-- Glass restoration work - documentation of the inventory, non-destructive removal and securing of the artistic glazing, removal of the attached building glass panes, reworking of the lead netting of the artistic glazing, installation of the artistic glazing in back-ventilated attached metal wings,-- documentation of the work carried out,-- total window size 199/448 cm i.
